      • How long is the seller a member, you can find the date the seller joined Musquet.com as a member beneath the sellers name of an advertisement.
      • Does the seller have some feedback, when the seller has sold other items before he may have received some feedback from other buyers.
    • You can find his feedback score in the amount of stars the seller has with his sellers name.
      • Does the seller sell more items, look if the seller is selling more items than just the item you want to buy. So you can find out if he is a serious seller.
    • Furthermore be always extra on your guard with transactions to foreign countries.
  • Is there a feedback or ratings system on Musquet.com?​
    • Yes, there is a feedback system.
      But it can only be deployed with an advertisement on which you can place bids.
      So at Price you must select "At all costs" or "Set a minimal bidding price".
      When the highest bidder of the item has also become the final buyer in the end.
      Then you can send the buyer an e-mail in which you request for a feedback.
      ​The buyer can then give the seller a rating.

    • When you are logged in to Musquet.com en you go to "My Account".
      You get a menu where you can select "My settings".
      If you open this you get an overview of your settings which you can change.
      • Would you like to receive our newsletter? Letter with auction dates and interesting articles.
      • Would you like to be able to receive messages from other members? You receive messages in your Musquet.com mailbox and in your privat mailbox.
        With this option you can select to turn off the messages from other members to your private mailbox.
      • Would you like to receive notifications of ads activities? You receive messages in your Musquet.com mailbox and private mailbox.
        With this option you can select to turn off the notifications of modifications that are made on advertisements to your private mailbox.
  • How to fix problems with receiving Blocked Message?
    • You can check by a few simple steps if you can solve the problems yourself.
      Check if your e-mail address is correct.
      Check if the mail has not been sent to your "Unwanted" folder of your mailbox.
      Ad us as a contact person in your mailbox hereby the mail we sent will not be marked as unwanted.
      If the problems have not been solved you can always contact our Customer service for further assistance.

  • Can I sell a weapon here?
    • You can sell any weapon you want as long as you follow the regulations according to law.
      So you are self responsible for the possible legal obliged documents.
      But you are also responsible when selling such an item that the seller is also in the possession of the correct documents.
      Pay extra attention to this with transactions to foreign countries.

    • You can upgrade your advertisement at any time.
      You enter the specific advertisement en select the upgrade you want to use.
      Furthermore we send automatic messages when your item is for sale for a certain term.

  • How do I register with Musquet.com?
    • For spectators there is no registration needed to view Musquet.com.
      But when you want to buy or sell you need to be registered for Musquet.com.
      How you can register is explained in the following article "Advertise on Musquet".
  • I have registered a new account, but I have not received the confirmation email.
    • You can request a new confirmation email here.

  • How do I add Musquet.com as a safe sender in my email settings?
    • You can ad Musquet.com as a contact person in your mailbox.
      By doing so, mail from Musquet.com is not marked as unwanted.

      Click on the settings Icon on the top right.
      Choose more e-mail settings.
      Go to Prevent unwanted email.
      Go to Safe and blocked senders.
      Choose Safe senders.
      Here you add "@musquet.com" to your list.

    • Your contact information consist of a number of obliged information fields.
      A part of this information will also be shown in your advertisements.
      You can show extra information as phone number and location in your advertisements.
      You can select this at the specific advertisement itself.
      You go to "My advertisements" and with the cursor you move to the advertisement you want to change.
      There will appear a set of three action buttons, namely edit, delete and online.
      You select "edit".
      Beneath the advertisement at Show extra information you can select the different options.
  • How can I change information in my account?
    • Your account information can be changed at any time via "My Account".
      You then go to "My profile".
      Here you can edit the wanted changes.
  • How can I change my e-mail address?
    • Your e-mail address can be changed at any time via "My Account".
      You then go to "My login info".
      Here you can edit the wanted changes.
  • My location is not displaying on the preview of my listing.
    • You need to select Location in your advertisements at the Show extra information option.
      If you already have this option selected but you get in your advertisements the text location unknown.
      Then you still need to edit your profile at "My Account".

  • How do I add new advertisements?
    • We have described this process step by step in our article "Advertise on Musquet".
      Here all the aspects of creating an advertisement are being processed.
  • How do I change my advertisements?
    • You go to "My advertisements" and with the cursor you move to the advertisement you want to change.
      There will appear a set of three action buttons, namely edit, delete and online.
      You select "edit".
      Here you can change and save the advertisement.
  • How do I add photos?
    • When you are creating a new advertisement you can add photos.
      If you want to adjust the photos after you have finished the advertisement.
      Then you can make this change the same way as changing your advertisement.

  • How can I get my advertisements on top of the listings?
    • There are two ways for an advertisement to get on top of the listings.
      The first way is via a TOP advertisement.
      Hereby the advertisement stays on top of the listings without any extra necessary actions.
      The second way is via a Regular Advertisement that is put on top of the listings via a special option.
      Hereby the advertisement is placed on top but will gladly move down again by newly placed advertisements.
      So the advertisement will not be on top of the listings.
      You need to put the advertisement on top again whenever it has moved downwards.
  • How can I change my e-mail address?
    • Your e-mail address can be changed at any time via "My Account".
      You then go to "My login info".
      Here you can edit the wanted changes.
  • My location is not displaying on the preview of my listing.
    • You need to select Location in your advertisements at the Show extra information option.
      If you already have this option selected but you get in your advertisements the text location unknown.
      Then you still need to edit your profile at "My Account".

Photos

 
  • How to add photos to an advertisement?
    • When you are creating a new advertisement you can add photos.
      If you want to adjust the photos after you have finished the advertisement.
      Then you can make this change the same way as changing your advertisement.

  • I cannot enlarge the photos or the window stays blank.
    • Check if you have saved the changes after you have edited the photo.
      In case you have saved the changes and you still experience the same problems you can contact our Customer Service .
      They will dissolve your question/problem as soon as possible.
  • How do I edit or change photos for my advertisements?
    • You go to "My advertisements" and with the cursor you move to the advertisement you want to change.
      There will appear a set of three action buttons, namely edit, delete and online.
      You select "edit".
      Here you can change the photos and save the advertisement.
  • How to crop or resize photos?
    • The size of the photos depends on how the photos have been saved on your computer.
      You can change the size of the photo yourself and saving the photo in the wanted size on your computer.
      You then add this picture to your advertisement.
  • Photos are not visible.
    • Check if you have saved the data after you have edited the photo.
      In case you have saved the edited data and you still experience the same problems you can contact our Customer Service.
      They will dissolve your question/problem as soon as possible.

Inbox

 
  • Inbox management
    • When you go to "Mail" you can select the following options:
      1. Inbox
      2. Outbox
      3. Trash
      At Inbox you find all the incoming messages of other members and automatic generated notifications.
      You can reply via your Inbox on received mail from other members.
      Furthermore you can delete messages.
      You do so by selecting the specific messages by marking the box in front of the message.
      The selected messages end up in Trash.
